NEW 3,500 SQ FT TIMBER FRAMED HOME ON THE EDGE OF GREENBELT

A new 4-bedroom dwelling designed to maximise natural light and achieve the best views of the surrounding green-belt area.

To achieve the brief, the scheme sees the main living spaces looking towards both the front and back of the plot, with the front garden becoming the formal garden of the house and the back of the plot becoming the adventure and agricultural garden.

The project consists of a two-storey stone volume and a timber clad single storey volume, connected by a glass link. The single storey volume hosts the family room to the front and the plant room and the office to the back. The two-storey volume is home to the playroom to the front, a bedroom to the rear.

The central core of the house benefits from a private courtyard garden, which seamlessly integrates the outdoor and the main family indoor spaces.
