GRADE II LISTED COTTAGE WITH CONTEMPORARY GLASS EXTENSION
A beautiful grade II listed building set in the heart of a Conservation Area. The owners wanted to increase their living space, flood their home with light and take in views of their spectacular garden.
The solution was to add a very modern extension to the listed building and when doing so it is important to maintain a clear distinction between the old and the new. The glass panel in the roof and to the side of this extension frames the new part of the building with an understated subtlety.
